This week I was nominated for the Liebster Award. For anyone who doesn’t know how it works, basically a fellow blogger nominates you! They have answered the 11 questions provided, they then nominate 11 bloggers of their choice and then create 11 questions to be answered! Nominees thank the person who nominated them and link their blog URL in the post to accept the Liebster Award…

I was nominated by the lovely beautylalinda – Her blog features beauty, fashion and lifestyle posts. LOVE her midweek motivation posts, super helpful – So Thank you lovely Linda! 

              

1. What made you decide to join the blogging world? I started a blog about 3/4 years ago called ‘rosey red‘ because I loved the thought of being able to have your own little space where you can be as creative as you want. I also wanted to learn more about photography, logo building and HTML so I thought this would be a great way to do so. I was very inconsistant with my posts so I eventually gave up that blog. I created   two years ago and have been much more consistant with posting. I feel like I’m making new friends within the blogging community so I’m glad I started my second blog!

2. Is blogging what you thought it would be when you started? No, I didn’t realise how vast the blogging community was. I certainly didn’t realise people made internet friends and attended events. I think now I realise how super supportive people can be – there’s always someone out there to give you a helping hand if you just ask 🙂 !

3. What has been you highlights in the blogging world so far? Joining #TheGirlGang I’ve only just started joining in with Twitter blogger chats, i’ve found everyone is super friendly and some of the topics they discuss are fab! The Girl Gang seems like an every growing bunch of lovely people! If you haven’t joined already I suggest you do! Rumour has it there’s an event in August too 😉 

4. What are your favourite types of blogs to read? Hmmm…Too many! Fashion blogs, food and fitness blogs. Ohh and I also cannot go and buy something unless I’ve read the beauty reviews on a product first ha!

5. What is your goal for your blog? Is it you hobby or would you like it to be your job? At the moment it is my hobby – i’m becoming quite obsessed with blogging so anything else is a MASSIVE bonus!

6. What is the most important thing you have learn about blogging so far? No matter how many tips, tricks and advice others provide you with on what you should / shouldn’t be posting, your blog is your little creative space so do what makes you happy!

7. Which country is currently at the top of your list to visit!? Hmm.. I REALLY want to go to Australia, I have a lot of family out there but it’s just the expense! 

8. If you could be anyone for a day who would it be? Probably the Queen – I wonder what her beds like? 

9. Who is your biggest inspiration in life? My dad! He’s a retired teacher and since becoming retired he’s worked none stop on his writing and had his first book published!  Timoleon Kindle  // Timoleon Paperback – He’s also a blogger too: GAHowkins . I’m an extremely proud daughter to say the least!

10. If you could give one piece of advice to your younger self what would it be? Worry less, everything works out in the end. You get the job done with or without the worry so no point dwelling on certain situations!

11. What is your ideal day? Being at a festival listening to my fav DJ or band with an ice cold drink in hand, sun beaming on my face, dressed as a glitter fairy! Parklife can’t come quick enough!
